BRONCHITIS
Bronchitis is an
inflammatory disease
of the bronchi: the airways than connect the trachea (windpipe) to the
lungs and may produce considerable amounts of sputum over a long
period. Symptoms include: raised temperature, wheezing, shortness of
breath and discomfort, especially when coughing. If untreated, it can
lead to pneumonia or pleurisy, in exceptional cases. Bronchitis may be
attributable to a virus or to a bacterial infection.
Craniosacral treatment produces a reduction in spasticity. It is common
that some reduction is sufficient to reverse paralysis. Muscle
relaxation almost always increases comfort and is restorative in terms
of function.
